Are You Open To Getting Out Of Your Comfort Zone?

Good Day Amazing Souls,

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful time of year with its sunshine, warmth, flowers, birds, and new growth of plants. Not sure about you, but to me it feels like June is flying by faster than normal!

Newness seems to be a theme lately, and stepping out of my comfort zone. I’ve been listening to The Alchemist and Stuart Wilde on Audible while doing my MMS enemas and driving (but not at the same time, lol). Intentionally reading more and making better choices to grow and learn when I have spare time. Stuart Wilde has some amazing suggestions in his book, called The Infinite Self. He suggests getting up at 4 am and going for a walk in the forest. Now I’m a ‘sleep in’ type of person, so the thought of this repelled me at first, lol. But I did it anyway, and I have to say, it was very enjoyable, peaceful  and it set up my day beautifully. Yes, I felt like I needed a nap mid-day, and I love naps, they are the BEST.

I have adjusted Wilde’s timing a bit, and now I go out a little later in the morning, about 6:30 am, which is more realistic in order for me to be consistent. This has also forced me to get to bed earlier, as I was getting into the habit of staying up late and pressing the snooze button in the morning, which I felt was not in alignment anymore. With all this being said, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is an excellent practice to open yourself up to new ways of being and experiencing life. I have to say — mornings are so beautiful, and I now really look forward to that quiet time, and singing with the birds and sun gazing. It helps to boost my motivation to be better and do better, and I feel so much more productive. Breathing in the fresh air of the forest, welcoming in the beautiful energies and vibrations, putting my feet in the cold water (maybe a cold plunge is next!).

“Each moment of our life, we either invoke or destroy our dreams. We call upon it to become a fact, or we cancel our previous instructions.”

Stuart Wilde

Another benefit of getting out of your comfort zone is that you never know what doors of opportunity will open for you. If I stay in the comfort of repetition, I may be missing out on really amazing experiences. What I noticed for myself over the years is that any change would cause negative stress to my nervous system, and I would be tired, get a headache, get a cold sore, etc. What I have been leaning into more is exploring my thoughts around these changes. Sometimes, my thoughts were very negative — and therefore the new experiences created unhealthy stress, and as a result, the body would present sickness. Pretty powerful. Now I also understand change is change, regardless of good or bad, but I deeply believe that how you perceive the changes is the most important — as well as how you support yourself through it. With ease and grace, anything is possible, and these potent energies help soothe the nervous system.

Stuart Wilde also wrote about doing things that go against the laws you have created for yourself. The ego creates laws and limitations. We all have patterns and beliefs that we go by, based on programming and experiences in life, which can be very limiting and cover up the Truth. For example, if you were told as a young person that having a lot of money meant you were a snob or that money is evil — question that, and your belief of others or yourself who have lots of money. Is that true? What does having a lot of money feel like to you? Or a belief that eating a big juicy burger will make you fat? As I have said before, and on the last Zoom call, thoughts create our reality. This never gets old for me — same with laughing at fart or scare pranks!

I learned of an herb called Skullcap, which has amazing benefits to soothe the nervous system. It has been used to treat nervous disorders like hysteria, nervous tension, epilepsy and chorea, and commonly as a sedative or sleeping aid. There are more benefits if you look it up. I add it to my ginger or peppermint tea at night, to relax after the day. Another adaptogenic tool which assists the body with relaxing is Kambo. This brilliant frog’s excretion not only assists with bringing balance back, it can assist with improving athletic performance, confidence, improved sleep, balanced hormones and so much more. Kambo can also assist you with preparing for a deep dive with Iboga, tapering off medications, or supporting your body with the changes it is going to go through with regard to stamina and strength. Getting yourself out of your comfort zone with Kambo is a perfect way, lol! Talk about getting uncomfortable with puking, shitting and the ultimate vulnerability of surrender to the unknown. Then add in a little Sananga and Hape. Chili peppers in the eyeballs, and then feeling like your head it being blown off, then possibly a little more puking. Haha — so much fun! I feel this is the perfect way to end this newsletter….don’t you?

Thank you so much for reading til the end, and I hope you are laughing and smiling like me right now.

Much love to all of you, and thank you for walking this path of Truth with me. I’m deeply honoured and humbled.
