Is Life A Beautiful or Ugly Mirror?

Hello and happy beautiful summer everyone.  Thank you for taking the time to read this newsletter. I am writing about how life is a mirror and yes it can be both beautiful and ugly. Perception and the energetic space you are moving through dictates our perceptions in the moment and thank goodness the ugly perceptions pass and we get to grow and learn from them.  The beautiful and the ugly perceptions are judgements and a good question to ask is are they really ugly or beautiful?  You know, when you are having a bad day, and everything seems negative? Then the next day you wake up and life is amazing again? Or may be you spend a few days or months in the uncomfortable moments only to get a glimmer of relief and it feels fantastic.  Everything you have been going through is worth that moment in time. What I have been learning on this healing path, is that we all have those days and moments of experiencing beauty and ugliness.  What I am getting better at, is recognizing those uncomfortable moments as opportunities to dive in and learn about myself.  What do I need today, how can I take steps in a different direction to support myself?  Those moments of discomfort give us openings to deeper parts of ourselves.

Noticing all aspects of your life and how you relate to the world is a beautiful mirror into YOU.  Understanding that all of your feelings and emotions are happening inside of you, not because of anything happening outside of you.  This is the mirror.  We may get triggered by something that is happening outside of ourselves (mirror), but it is occurring inside of us.  Everyone is unique in this way.  The beauty is recognizing your own uniqueness of the experience without judgement, without blame, guilt or shame. This process allows us the ability to accept how we are feeling, feel it all and then replace it with a heart quality, such as self love, understanding, compassion etc.

“Taking a moment to figure out how you really feel, instead of letting old patterns decide for you is one of the most authentic things you can do.”

Stepping into your own power is taking responsibility for your emotions, thoughts, feelings and life.  Accepting and loving all aspects of yourself no matter what, is holding space for yourself like never before.  You get to be that safe space for YOU. Feel into being a safe space for yourself and what would if feel like? Do you find yourself being judgmental of others actions?  Do you get frustrated when they are late or don’t follow through with plans?  How many times do people let you down in a day? This is a mirror.  How many times do you let yourself down?  How often do you reject yourself?  People please? Sacrifice your own happiness for others?  Put your life on the back burner because someone else or event is more important, only to feel resentment?   Where are you resenting yourself?  These thoughts and feelings inside are mirrors to explore what is happening inside of you.  What a gift.  Those things that you admire in others is a mirror into yourself as well.  The things you secretly wish for or dream of is wanting you as well.  When we can let go of the past stories and step into the present moment, we create space for new opportunities to arrive.  Knowing and feeling that you are not your past or your story leaves a wide open space to create everything your heart desires.  Lets welcome in space for growth and opportunities for our highest and greatest good!!
