Dear Thoughts: AKA Santa

`

Happy Holidays Beautiful Peeps,

Wishing you an amazing holiday season filled with Love, Peace, Joy, Success and Miracles beyond your beliefs.

I feel that Christmas — and I understand not everyone celebrates Christmas — is all about the magic. The spirit of giving (not always in the form of a physical present) and spending time with loved ones. There are so many ways to give gifts, including your thoughtfulness, attention, love, presence, acts of kindness, your laughter, your smile, and more. The beauty of this is, as you know, is that we don’t have to wait until Christmas, like the Grinch, to share our hearts.

“May you be inspired by giving, changed by love, filled with peace, and touched by miracles.”

— Mary Daves —

I’ve been watching quite a few Christmas movies lately, and my favourite ones are The Family Stone, The Holiday, and A Christmas Carol with Jim Carey.

They all have a similar theme of letting go of the past and being in the present moment so that we can experience the miracles happening right under our nose – like Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer. The magic is right there always.

A huge gift you can give yourself is to dive into your thoughts and figure out if they are bringing you peace or suffering.

Here is a little exercise that I find helpful when I’m stuck in a toxic loop of thoughts that are heavy on my heart. Financial stresses, and also the fear of making a mistake, are biggies for me.

Dear Thoughts,

1) I am allowing myself to feel you?

2) Can I let you go?

3) Would I let you go?

4) When?

I repeat until I feel lighter, freer and happy.

Here are some other helpful questions from The Work:

1) Is it true?

2) Can I absolutely know that it’s true?

3) How do I react? And what happens when I believe the thought?

4) How would I feel if I didn’t have that story?

5) Who would I be without the thought?

Turn around the thought to its exact opposite.

Or this question, from the book A Thousand Names for Joy, by Byron Katie:

Is my heart light or heavy?

Consciously taking part in inquiries like these serves as a way to regularly check in with ourself to evaluate — and remaster — our thought processes.

In other IbogaJourney news, I recently had some professional photos taken of myself and the ceremony space (by Studio White Photography in Calgary), which will be added to the website soon. I plan to include some of my favourites in the first IbogaJourney newsletter of 2024, as well as an update on my life and my practice. I wanted to share what the space is like, some updated pics of yours truly, and my support team (and loves of my life) my kitties Jagz and Savaz. They are sisters, and I adopted them a year and a half ago from AARCS.  They have truly been such a gift in my life. I questioned getting the kitties, since many have allergies. However, my heart overruled and is bursting as a result. Miraculously, peeps with the most severe allergies have not reacted to them 🙏🏽 A wise soul told me that they have hair, not fur, hence no allergies.

Thank you again for taking the time to read this newsletter and thank you for sending me emails letting me know how much you enjoy reading them. Your kind words inspire me with confidence to keep writing and sharing from my heart. ❤️

The next Trio of Medicines session will be from Jan 5—7 in 2024, which feels like a long time away! There will be a Zoom call Wednesday, December 20 at 7 pm MST, and I look forward to connecting with you then. Feel free to bring some holiday cheer and wear your Christmas PJ’s and/or Santa Hat (with clothing 😂).

Private sessions with Iboga, Kambo, Jaguar, Bufo, and MDMA are available between Dec 11 — Jan 1 (dates are limited).

Bassé, and Miracles to all,

Treenz
